I’ve Been to the Town in Kiki’s Delivery Service, and It is Losing its Magic
It takes 3 hours and 11 minutes to reach Laitlum when you start from Guwahati. The weather was clear and we started our journey from North Eastern Hill University, not Guwahati, and we reached at 2 PM. I heard Meghalaya is beautiful and I’ve seen pictures of the hills on my feed several times, but the only thing I remembered of the place from when I was about 11 was Nausea and the pressure to watch a lot of stuff in a tiny amount of time.
This time was different though. I went with a friend of mine with no planning, he just saw the weather and said, “you know what, you may really like Liatlum.” And we went.
